1.15pm Cheltenham
Act Of Innocence
He has joined us from Paul Nicholls, where his last performance saw him win a Taunton bumper in good style. The form of that race has worked out well too, with the second, third and fourth all winning since, and we like what we have seen of him at home.
3.30pm Cheltenham
Iberico Lord
He won this race in great style a couple of years ago, and more of the same would be very welcome here. We know he is capable of being competitive off a mark of 139, as he is only 5lb higher than when subsequently winning the Betfair Hurdle in 2024 on heavy ground – and that was a very strong renewal, too – but it is fair to say it hasn’t been all plain sailing for him since. If he is on his A-game, then he certainly has his chance.
