It Sure Is
He showed some good form over hurdles last season and it is fair to say that we were expecting a little more from him on his chasing debut at Newbury in November. But he is a young horse, so we thought we would come back to hurdles before going over fences with him again in the future. We have given him a break, as well as putting cheek pieces on him, so hopefully he can show us his true worth here. He gets weight from the winners, and has definite chances at his best.

Pistol Whipped
He won first time up at Leicester last season and then went on to run a decent race against much higher-rated horses in a Grade 2 at Kempton. I think he is on a fair mark if he can reproduce either of those two runs, and his record says he goes very well when fresh.

On The Blind Side
He has run two excellent races this season, winning at Cheltenham and then running a better race in defeat when second off a 5lb higher mark on his return to that track last time. This is obviously a tougher test but he is an in-form course winner who certainly has his chance, though we can obviously have done without the 4lb penalty for his November win.

Glynn
He may have lost his unbeaten record at Doncaster last time but I think that was a very satisfactory return. This longer trip looks set to suit this winning pointer and hopefully there is some mileage in his mark of 134 with so few runs under his belt. I schooled him on Thursday morning and he is in good order.
