Global Society
He was far too keen and fresh for his own good here last month, so hopefully he can settle a bit better here in a first-time hood. If he does then I would like to think he has a fair chance as he felt a decent sort when earlier winning for me at Doncaster.

Keen On
His Sandown win in November worked out really well and he followed up nicely under a penalty at Southwell next time. His fourth at Warwick was a bit disappointing at the time but he probably wasn’t too bad in hindsight and a mark of 134 looks fair enough.

Downtown Getaway
He was obviously very disappointing when we thought he would go well at Newbury on his reappearance but we had his wind done afterwards, and decided to ride him more positively here last time. He came up trumps for us there and showed a really willing attitude to battle back when headed. He is 5lb higher for what was a narrow victory, but I thought that was a strong handicap. He has a very good chance, I think.
3.15pm
Pistol Whipped
He won well at Leicester on his return and he was unfortunate when falling at the same track next time. He was another who ran far too free when fifth here last time but, again, hopefully he will prove more tractable. He has the talent to figure if he can relax into his race.
3.50pm
Farouk De Cheneau
He won in France last time, which means he carries a 6lb penalty, and is thought to be a nice horse. This will obviously tell us a lot more about him but we are hopeful of a decent first show.
