Flinteur Sacre
He obviously comes with a lot of attention courtesy of being Sprinter Sacre’s brother. While no-one should be getting too carried away just yet, of course we have been delighted with his two bumper starts to date, following up his debut second here with an impressive win at Kempton. This is by no means a straightforward assignment for him on his hurdling debut, but he has schooled and worked well in preparation for this.

Bothwell Bridge
He showed us plenty of ability when runner-up in both his bumpers last season, running to a high level of form in that sphere, and he did what was expected of him on his hurdling debut at Warwick earlier in the month. Of course, this is a much biggest test for him and he carries a 5lb penalty – it is a hot little race – but he is another novice hurdler who we rate.

Whatswrongwithyou
The handicapper over-reacted to his wide-margin win in a three-runner race at Fontwell a couple of seasons ago but he has come down 8lb since, so hopefully he can be competitive here. He shaped pretty well when we last saw him at Kempton in March, and he won a couple of novice hurdles around here, too. If we get a bit more rain for him, so much the better.
