Just touched off in a Grade 1 at Aintree for previous connections back in 2023, he shaped really well on his debut for us at Cheltenham in December. We possibly expected a little more from him over 2m3f at Ascot last time but it was still a solid effort and he was dropped 1b for it. He clearly has his chance in a very open race.

The drying ground is in his favour, especially over this trip, and he has now dropped to a mark of 127. That combination gives him decent claims here if he can return to his best, not that he ran too badly at Exeter last time. And obviously this race has cut up a lot at the overnight stage to just six runners. He has been rated as high as 146 over fences and 135 over hurdles, so the potential is certainly there off this mark.
