Nadaitak

Obviously, this has cut up a fair bit but he still faces three strong rivals, all of whom have shown better form than him coming into the race. But he was a good 1m4f-2m horse on the Flat and he has done pretty well in three hurdle starts, with a course win here in November and a second on his return the following month. That defeat was a little disappointing, but we know he likes the track and ground and hopefully the cheekpieces, which he wore on the Flat, will see him improve.

O O Seven

Aidan, who has ridden him before, said the wind op he had during the summer made a difference when he beat Go Conquer here on his reappearance. But he is a pretty straightforward horse anyway. It was good to see him return to form though, and hopefully he will be able to back that performance up here. Conditions look ideal for him, and I think he will be competitive off a 5lb higher mark. I schooled him on Thursday morning, and all went very well.

Nonesuch

She is a mare with a good pedigree and she shaped with promise when third in the soft over 1m6f at Ludlow on her debut. Conditions will be a lot different here, going up in trip on quicker ground, but hopefully she will give a good account of herself.
