WARWICK – SUNDAY
2.00pm
The Cob
This looks a very decent race with Nickolson and Trimcomalee in the line-up, but we get 6lb from those winners and we have a solid each-way chance. I rode him in a couple of bumpers and he has a high knee-action and loves soft ground. I spoke to Bryony after she finished second on him at Uttoxeter last time and she was very happy with the performance. Hopefully, there is a fair bit more improvement in him.

Steal A March
He battled really well for me to win on heavy ground at Hereford last time. Our first choice was to run him at the abandoned meeting at Sandown on Friday but conditions will suit here and I think his mark of 115 is fair. I would like to think there is more to come from this progressive sort, too.
5.10pm
Your Darling
Obviously, there were a few words spoken about him after he won on his debut at Newbury, and the runner-up advertised the form when winning next time. He is a lovely horse and potentially one for the Aintree bumper, but he carries a 7lb penalty and meets some decent sorts here, so let’s deal with the task in hand first. Clearly, he is a horse everyone thinks a lot of though.
