Calimystic
This is the first time I have ridden him but he seems to be progressing well and he won nicely at Doncaster last time. An opening mark of 118 hopefully gives this half-brother to Angels Breath every chance in a competitive handicap.
Bhaloo
He has plenty to prove after being pulled up on his last three starts, but he has slipped back to 130, so he clearly has a chance if he returns to his defeat of Bad off this mark at Ascot in November.
La Pinsonniere
This is obviously a hugely competitive race but I’d like to think she has her chance. She bumped into a good mare in Jasmine Bliss over an extended 2m4f at Southwell – she meets the winner on 7lb better terms here – and a revised mark of 118 will hopefully see my mare be competitive. And the first-time cheekpieces could well help, too.
Jasmin Bellevue
He showed plenty of promise in his two points runs but he has yet to show that ability in two hurdle starts so far. Hopefully, he can show us more here.
