She clearly didn’t run her race at Cheltenham last time, but her previous third at Ascot could not have worked out a lot better. The ground will suit her here and this winning pointer has been schooling well for her chase debut, and a mark of 134 gives her good claims.

My mare has been in great form and hopefully her progression, and winning run, will continue here. But you wouldn’t see too many more competitive and deeper mares’ chases than this, and this will take some winning.

He came on nicely last time at Ludlow and this better ground will suit him. This looks a good winning opportunity for him.

Gunnery

This is a horse with a lot of ability but he was far too keen again last time and he needs to settle better. But if he does then a mark of 115 definitely underestimates his ability.
