That’s Nice
A winner of her only point, I was impressed by her when she won at Warwick last month and the runner-up franked the form when winning at Sandown on Saturday. Unfortunately, we picked up a 6lb penalty for that win and she faces three very strong rivals here, but we like to think she is a very useful prospect, too.

Jango Baie
Another race that has cut up to a small field, but it’s a very decent contest and will take some winning. Jango Baie won the rescheduled Tolworth at Aintree last season, so he is a Grade 1 winner, and he improved in defeat afterwards. We obviously hold high hopes for him going over a fence and he comes here in good shape.

Willmount
He was due to run at Sandown last weekend but we pulled him out in those extreme conditions. What I said about him there holds true here. He was very good when winning at Newbury and then the boss looked after him after his disappointing run in the Challow, as he wasn’t entirely happy with him. We are now, and a mark of 130 gives him definite chances here.

Mister Coffey
By now, we all know this horse hasn’t won for a while, as everyone keeps reminding us! But he ran another smasher over these fences last time, and I suspect the winner is a very smart performer in this sphere. He actually got dropped 2lb for that run last time, so he has each-way chances again in a hugely competitive race that has attracted a full field.

Bhaloo
This is another hot handicap but hopefully Bhaloo has his chance. He actually won over fences on his return at Ascot but we switch him back to hurdles here. The handicapper seems to have raised his hurdles mark after that Ascot win too, which isn’t ideal, but he has his conditions. This could take a lot of winning, though.
