Califet En Vol (James Bowen)

At the time of writing, he is also running on today but we’ve backed horses up before like this and he is a very uncomplicated person, so I feel he will handle two quick runs, but of course he’ll be fully checked over and if he’s still feeling the affects, he won’t run.

This will be the first time he’s tackled three miles (since running in a Point to Point) but I think going over further could even bring out more improvement and this is a lovely track.

Laguna Beach (James Bowen)

He travelled well in the EBF Final last time but the ground was extremely testing that day and he’ll be much happier on this better surface – I hope.

This is a very suitable race due to the fact it’s for horses that have won just one race and I expect him to go quite nicely.

Reckless Spending (Nico De Boinville)

He was slightly disappointing at Haydock where he made a few jumping errors but we’ve done plenty of schooling with him since, and this is a drop back down in grade, so I’d be hopeful of a more accomplished performance.

Eremenko (Nico De Boinville)

She was very good at Plumpton the other day and has, like many Walk In The Park’s, come out bucking and kicking. This will be her first start in a Handicap and I’d like to think she’s capable of showing her hand off this mark.

Longlands (Nico De Boinville)

He is closely related to Gold Present (also owned by John Cotton) who was a lovely, gorgeous animal and this horse is exactly the same.

His work has been to a good standard, much of which he’s done with some that have already come out and fared very well.

He’s a big horse, and will be much better next year, but we have a nice bunch of bumper horses and this is one of them.
