That’s Nice (Nico de Boinville)
She was very impressive at Warwick and that form has worked out very well with the second winning a Listed race at Sandown last week. We’re dropping back in trip, but I don’t see that being an issue on a track like this, and she receives a handy sex allowance, so I’m quite hopeful.

Jango Baie (Nico de Boinville)
He was due to run at Aintree last week, but that was abandoned, so we find ourselves here and I must admit he does appear to face quite a tall order with the likes of Caldwell Potter among the opposition. He’s schooled well, however, is a Point to Point winner, and two and a half around a course like this should suit.

Willmount (Nico de Boinville)
We took him out of Sandown last week because I didn’t want to give him an unnecessary hard race on very testing ground for his first run of the season. The idea is to go chasing, but he needs to run in a handicap hurdle before we can go down that route, and this will obviously tell us a lot more about where we stand. If he bolts up, plans might change, but at this stage we hope to send him over fences sooner rather than later.

Mister Coffey (Nico de Boinville)
He ran very well from out of the handicap in the Cross Country at the November meeting and appeared to quite enjoy himself once getting into a rhythm. As everyone is aware by now, he is still a Maiden over fences but retains plenty of ability and I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do with that first outing under his belt.

Bhaloo (Nico de Boinville)
He made a successful Chase debut at Ascot but we have decided to switch back to hurdles for the time being and step him up in trip. The ground will suit, and he warrants respect.
