KEMPTON
2:40pm
Falco Blitz (Nico De Boinville)
He was disappointing at Warwick last time so we’re switching back to hurdles, where he’s rated a few pounds lower, and this is his trip. The ground will be absolutely perfect and he’s been in great form at home so goes there with a decent chance in what looks a good opportunity.
3:15pm
Pistol Whipped (Nico De Boinville)
He has to have good ground which is why we took him out of Cheltenham and the going here should be much better. The drop back into Handicap Company should see him in a much better light and he’s been consistent all the way through. His work has been very good and he must be taken seriously.
4:25pm
Balkeo (Nico De Boinville)
He really needed his first run for us at Sandown last time so I’d expect to see some improvement now and the step up in trip will help, too. There are only five runners but it looks a pretty competitive race but hopefully this person can run very well.
5:00pm
Peace Of Rome (Nico De Boinville)
He’s a lovely looking son of Jukebox Jury who has shown plenty at home to suggest he has a bright future. We have only run one of our four year olds so far (Luccia) and I’ve got a few ready to go. But this chap is the most forward of them at this stage and while he will come on for the run, and lacks the experience of some of the others, I’d be hopeful he can run well.
UTTOXETER
5:18pm
Issuing Authority (James Bowen)
He’s a nice horse who was unlucky not to have won his Point to Point but his work has been good and he’s a nice prospect for his large team of owners. He’ll like a bit of soft ground, too.
