Fantastic Lady (Nico De Boinville)

I was very impressed with her in a Listed race at Market Rasen last time over three miles and the drop back down in trip here won’t be a problem at this course and she’s also 2lbs ‘well in’ so has quite a few things going for her. She’s a lovely big mare who we have always liked and I wouldn’t rule her out.

Epatante (Aidan Coleman)

We are running her quite quickly after the Fighting Fifth but she takes her racing well and Rachel McMahon, who rides her every day, is very happy with her so we decided to give it a shot. She’s already won six Grade Ones, including a Unibet Champion Hurdle, so owes us absolutely nothing and is more than entitled to be running in this.

First Street (James Bowen)

We fancied him to go well in the Gerry Fielden at Newbury last time and he duly did the job nicely under a great ride from James. This is arguably his biggest task and I was going to save him for the big Handicap at Ascot next week but he’d end up with top weight in that so we decided to come here instead. He ran a fantastic race in the County Hurdle behind subsequent G1 Unibet Morgiana Hurdle winner State Man which is good enough to see him put up a bold show.

Theatre Glory (Nico De Boinville) entered Doncaster

We don’t know what would’ve happened had she not got ride of her jockey at Newbury last time because she came into that in great form but these things happen. She’s got plenty of weight but the step back up to two and a half will suit and she’s a very high class mare.
