KEMPTON

3:07

Wiseguy (James Bowen)

His jumping let him down on ocassions at Newbury last time, but he’s a smart animal when things go his way and he’s now back down to a winning mark. This is a small drop down into a Class 3 and good ground suits.

Bective Abbey (Robert Dunne)

He jumps well and kept on nicely at Chepstow last time. The Handicapper put him up 1lb for finishing, which is never ideal, but he’s consistent and very lightly raced so might still have some improvement in the tank.

CHEPSTOW

12:00

Galashiels (Nico De Boinville)

He was very smart on the flat for Andre Fabre and handles soft ground well. He’s schooled nicely over hurdles and hopefully has a bright future over obstacles but whether he’s able to win first time out in a competitive race like this, we will only find out.

Manlaga (Nico De Boinville)

She’s a new recruit to us from France who won her only start in a 3yo unraced fillies race quite impressively; the form of which looks reasonably good.

Her work has been to a decent standard and we took her to Newbury in November where she enjoyed a nice leg stretch in behind some of the other guys.

She was entered at Kempton but we are coming here mainly because she loves very soft ground, which it is likely to be at Chepstow.
