Brave Jen (James Bowen)
She is still a Maiden and obviously has to step up considerably on what she’s shown so far, but I expect her to improve for her first run back, and this might not be the strongest of Listed races. Hopefully she can gain some valuable black type.

Jingko Blue (James Bowen)
His jumping let him down a little bit at Warwick on his first run for us but he’s done plenty of schooling since and won his Point to Point well. He’s a horse we like a lot and I think he’ll come on for his debut.
Jeu Des Champs (Robbie Dunne)
He might’ve won his Point to Point had he not made a horlicks of the last, but he’s schooled very well since arriving at Seven Barrows and is a nice prospect. This is a decent Novice and, even if we don’t win, it’s sure to be a race that will throw up plenty of future winners.

Jet Powered (James Bowen)
He was extremely impressive on his debut for us this time last year, after which things went awry, but we know the reason for that and he’s now back in great shape and working well. It’s still very early days, and we’re now into Handicap company, but the step up in trip will suit and I’m looking forward to getting him back in track.

Under Control (James Bowen)
She is a lovely mare and one we have very high hopes for. We like this race because it’s great for second season novices and we’ve won it with the likes of Epatante and First Street in recent years, so it has always been the plan to start off here. The form of her Sandown victory is look pretty good and we’ve tinkered with her wind over the summer. She has plenty of weight but I am extremely excited about her.

Dusart (James Bowen)
He enjoyed an away day here with Under Control on the gallops morning a couple of weeks ago, which would have brought him on a lot and I’m rather hoping that we can enjoy a productive season with him. We’ve always thought a great deal of him, and while things haven’t gone entirely to plan along the way, I think a race like this could suit and he has a solid each way shout if things go his way.
