Interestingly it's CROSS COUNTER who we've seen money for against the favourite Stradivarius. The drop in trip from Ascot should be in his favour given his turn of foot and it's too soon to write him off versus Gosden's star. A mouthwatering clash.

Once raced COBRA EYE has hardened as favourite for this Maiden and it's easy to see why. That man Frankie Dettori is in the plate and this Gimcrack entered son of Kodiac was a real eye-catcher on debut. Rain shouldn't be a hinderance and clearly a big run is in the offing. 

Muthmir NON RUNNER

Old boy MUTHMIR acts really well at this course and has been tumbling down the weights. He wasn't beaten all that far at Epsom earlier this season (a similar downhill track) and a return to Goodwood should really suit.   NON RUNNER
