Set In Stone

4.00pm
10/1 from 20/1

Irish raider SET IN STONE has halved in price up in Scotland today. Once rated in the 90s, the 5yo has plummeted at the weights but she has shown all her best form with give underfoot. The soft ground today is in her favour and she's a dual course and distance winner, which probably explains the each-way support we've seen. Even better for our punters, we're paying AN EXTRA PLACE on this race.

FFOS LAS

Torhousemuir

5.35pm
8/1 from 11/1

Sam Thomas has saddled two runners in the past fortnight and both have won which might go some way to explaining the money we've seen for TORHOUSEMUIR today at Ffos Las. He's not won in 18 career races but he's gone close on occasions and with the yard in form, and a handy 3lb claim, maybe today is the day the 8yo finally gets his head in front!

Cape Hideaway

7.45pm
15/2 from 16/1

CAPE HIDEAWAY has shown next to no form in his three runs for Tim Vaughan but he's sliding at the weights for a yard that has previous of landing gambles. If he returns to the form of his last run for his previous handler he could just go very close indeed off of a previous winning mark.
