PLUMPTON
Sparkling Dawn
1.30pm
50/1 from 150/1
SPARKLING DAWN actually showed a fair bit in bumpers including when winning at Huntingdon and coming 8th of 20 (beaten less than 10 lengths) in Aintree's Grade 2 Mares bumper. She's been poor over hurdles thus far and unseated on her first two attempts. That said there is clearly ability there and speculative punters were quick to take the 150/1. She was as short as 28s and there's a tasty return for some if she even manages to place!
Ask The Weatherman
3.30pm
3/1 from 6/1
11yo ASK THE WEATHERMAN has talented claimer Ben Jones in the saddle has won off of a much higher mark (and has a fine record in points) but has been poor in two starts this season. The money today suggests a bounce back to form could be in the offing, in which case he will be hard to beat!
KELSO
Westend Theatre
2.45pm
3/1 from 9/2
WESTEND THEATRE has been well supported dropping back at trip at Kelso this afternoon. A winner two starts back, he'll be doing his best running at the finish and with the favourite a bit weak despite winning three on the bounce, the traders report money for the horse with (probably) the next most solid form in the race!
