NEWCASTLE

Stone Mason

1.00pm
6/4 from 7/4

STONE MASON could be yet another astute purchase for Mick Appleby and The Horse Watchers. The well bred and very unexposed 4yo was previously with Roger Charlton and note the double declaration which could indicate they expect him to go in today and then can run him again under a penalty on Thursday. Well backed and could be a dream start for punters and a nightmare return for us!

Wild Edric

3.20pm
6/1 from 11/1

Having reappeared after a break in March, WILD EDRIC, who boasts a 50% strike rate on the All-Weather (2 wins from 4 runs), might be fitter than most here. The race didn't go to plan when wide on that most recent day and Richard Kingscote returns to the plate. We're paying AN EXTRA PLACE on this race.

Shoot To Kill

3.55pm
11/2 from 12/1

Another unexposed and well backed type is George Scott's 3yo SHOOT TO KILL who was tried in some decent races as a 2yo. He put in two decent perfomances on the All-Weather last year and can benefit from a gelding operation over the winter. His trainer can certainly ready one and this son of Dandy Man has seen money all morning! We're paying AN EXTRA PLACE on this race.

NEWMARKET

Kameko

Antepost
15/2 from 9/1

KAMEKO was a Group 1 winner at 2 and our traders report that he's been supported for both the 2000 Guineas and the Investec Derby in recent days! Perhaps the son of Kitten's Joy has been pleasing at home?
