ASCOT
Colonial Dreams
2.25pm
15/2 from 10/1
Nicky Henderson's COLONIAL DREAMS has been nibbled today. at Ascot. He looks unexposed having had just two handicap hurdle starts (one of which he was running well when tumbling at the last). But why listen to us when you can read Unibet ambassadors Nicky Henderson's and Nico de Boinville's thoughts on him on the Unibet blog! Unibet are paying an EXTRA PLACE on this race.
Belami Des Pictons
3.00pm
5/1 from 8/1
The Venetia Williams yard is Flying with a capital 'F'. BELAMI DES PICTONS has been off a whopping 440 days but the yard have history with readying them after a long layoff and the 8yo has some really good form, most recently behind the supremely talented Waiting Patiently. This is the only horse Unibet punters want in this race and it'll be interesting to see how he gets on.
HAYDOCK
Lostock Hall
12.55pm
10/1 from 20/1
LOSTOCK HALL is our best backed horse at Haydock, along with the popular Captain Redbeard (who runs later in the card). He's been beaten a long, long way on both of his starts for this yard so the gamble immediately catches the eye. He's a horse who has shown enough ability in the past to suggest he could make a mockery of his mark. A bounce back to form is very much required, though.
Idee De Garde
2.05pm
8/1 from 9/1
Mister Fisher was as big as 6/1 for this race midweek but our traders report he's a little uneasy in the market this morning, with punters looking elsewhere. IDEE DE GARDE is the one we've seen most money for and Dan Skelton's 6yo ran behind another good Henderson horse on his hurdles debut. He's unexposed and it bodes well that the yard, who know a good one, come here on just his second hurdle start (and when he's still a maiden).
We are also paying an EXTRA PLACE on the 1.35pm at Navan and the 5.45pm at Wolverhampton. As ever, prices are subject to change.
