AFTER yesterday’s five-day confirmation stage for Qipco British Champions Day, Unibet saw plenty of movement in our ante-post book for various runners and the best backed are below:

Long Distance Cup

KEW GARDENS 5/1 from 6/1

Last year’s Royal Ascot Queen’s Vase and St Leger hero is winless since his Classic victory but has posted some excellent efforts in defeat so far this season, including a gallant second in the Irish Leger last time. Lightly raced this term, the son of Galileo has freshness on his side which counts for plenty at this stage of the year so it is understandable the money is now coming for Aidan O’Brien’s charge to beat Stradivarius.

Champions Sprint

HELLO YOUMZAIN 4/1 from 5/1

The winner of four of his seven races, this improving colt relishes soft ground conditions and was very impressive in the Haydock Sprint Cup last time. Rated one pound below Advertise, Kevin Ryan’s speedster has untapped potential and has unsurprisingly been extremely popular with us.

Champion Stakes

UAE JEWEL 20/1 from 33/1

Raced just three times and the winner of two starts, Roger Varian’s inmate, a son of Dubawi, adds massive intrigue representing a shrewd stable. Beaten over a mile last time, the step back up to 10 furlongs could really be in this horse’s favour. ADDEYBB is another we’ve seen significant support for over the past five days.

HEREFORD – 4:40

PARISIAN AFFAIR 10/1 from 22/1

Suited by the soft ground, this daughter of Champs Elysees has shown more than enough to suggest she is in with a good chance this afternoon. Connections have opted for the blinkers and secured the services of Bryony Frost which is an added bonus!
