SALISBURY
So Claire
3.15pm
6/1 from 15/2
Handicap debutant SO CLAIRE was a really good 3rd at 50/1 on her most recent start and, on pedigree, can appreciate the underfoot conditions. Stall 2 can suit the unexposed 3yo who is vying for favouritism in a wide open contest!
Singing The Blues
4.45pm
2/1 from 100/30
The traders coud be SINGING THE BLUES if Rod Millman's in form runner goes onto to score at Salisbury this afternoon! He's been first or second in his last seven starts and the yard have the top two in the betting here so it's interesting this one is strong in the market while the other is relatively weak. Think the favourite is now too short? We are paying AN EXTRA PLACE in this race!
THIRSK
Here's Rocco
8.50pm
17/2 from 28/1
HERE'S ROCCO is the best backed horse of the day today, our traders report. His yard is flying and he certainly shaped with more promise when dropped to today's trip last time out, and he met trouble in running that day. The ground should really suit and he could just be a really shrewd pick!
ROYAL ASCOT
Settle For Bay
Hunt Cup
10/1 from 16/1
SETTLE FOR BAY was one of the most impressive winners at Royal Ascot last year and he's been well backed overnight for the 2019 renewal of the same race this year. He's faced with a tougher task this year carrying 6lbs more but he might very well have won carrying that last year. The noises are that he coming back into the same form as last years and sharp punters were quick to grab our 16/1 on offer for this year's renewal!
A #RoyalAscot winner is back in action today as Settle For Bay competes in the Singspiel Stakes @MeydanRacing.
