Ishallak

He doesn’t look to have shown much in the way of solid form so far but hopefully his falling handicap mark gives him a chance, especially on his runs over 1m2f at Chepstow and Windsor last season. And the switch of stable and scenery could bring about some improvement, too, I guess.

Taurean Star

I was lucky enough to win this race on Fastnet Tempest a couple of years ago and Taurean Star certainly has chances now he has crept in at the bottom of the weights. He was dropped a handy 2lb for his reappearance run at Kempton in March and a strongly-run, big-field handicap should suit him much better. In fact, he finished down the field in Fastnet Tempest’s race here in 2017 but didn’t get the run of the race there, he has a couple of wins to his name at this track, and he is just a bit higher in the weights than when winning at Goodwood last season, as well. With Ralph’s horses in such good form, I hope he has a big run in him. He looks to go on any ground, but soft looks fine for him.

Cabarita

She looks to have progressed with every run, which is always a good sign. This will be her first outing on turf and she is also stepping up to 1m2f, but her pedigree suggests she will be fine. She did go up 4lb for her narrow third at Wolverhampton last time but hopefully she can keep on improving. I have ridden her at home and she is a nice, sweet filly and I think she has a good chance.
