Angel Of Delight

She has a lovely pedigree, by Dark Angel out of a very smart juvenile who won a Listed race, and she shaped with promise on her debut at Lingfield in June. You would expect her to show the benefit of that run here, and this extra furlong certainly looked as though it would suit her.

Warning Light

This is a filly I know well and she ran her best race for me when not beaten far into seventh over an extended 1m at Wolverhampton recently. She didn’t shine when tried over this 1m2f trip at Yarmouth in May – though that was because of the ground rather than the distance – but she is now 7lb lower, so hopefully that will help. I imagine she will be one of the outsiders, but let’s hope she can surprise after that better run last time, where she did shape as if a longer trip would suit her. In fact, I think she wants a trip. The cheek pieces are put on, too.

Red Archangel

She comes here in good form, and has a fair chance. She has crept up the weights a little for her good placed efforts at Yarmouth and Lingfield, but that is fair enough, and hopefully this track will be fine for her.
