Honest Albert
He looks a great ride to pick up for Mr Gosden. He is clearly the least exposed in the field after two runs and two wins, and he looked very good when winning at Nottingham last time. The placed horses have been beaten since, though running well in defeat, and it’s just a question of whether he has the ability to win this off a mark of 90. Hopefully, he has, and the pace he showed last time suggests the step back to 7f won’t be a problem. He looks a pretty exciting colt.

Steel Helmet
He came back to form when just touched off for me at Chelmsford last time, and he can race off the same mark here. He is a course winner and he should run well if he lasts home over this 2m trip.

Teodora de Vega
She is a well-related filly and she is on the up herself after a win at Epsom last time. I think a 3lb rise for that victory looks fair, and you would hope and expect there is more to come from her on just her sixth start.

He was placed off higher marks than this here last season and he ran okay when fourth at Hamilton last time. He has been eased a further 1lb for that, so hopefully he is now on a winning mark where he can be very competitive.
