Incinerator looks to have a good chance. The stable is in great form and so is this well-bred Oasis Dream colt too, having won over 6f at Catterick last time. A mark of 76 looks okay, and the step up to 7f looks like it will suit on pedigree and what we saw at Catterick.

Around this time last year, this horse was rated in the 100s and he now races off just 78. So he is clearly very well-handicapped on his past exploits and he has been running okay of late too, and that includes a good second here in June. Hopefully, he can spring back to winning form off his falling mark and with the visor back on.

It looks like he struggled to last home over 1m6f here last time, so the step back in trip will suit. He clearly hasn’t been at his best of late, but he has at least come tumbling down the weights, so he has a very fair mark if he can show a little bit more here with a visor replacing the cheekpieces.
