Walk to Freedom (Robert Power)

Robert had a tough decision to make between the two of them, but he’s gone for Walk to Freedom. He’s a very brave horse, as he a had a year off due to injury, but he has already won a nice prize this season and he ran very well when second in a qualifier at Leopardstown. It’s very exciting for his owners to have a runner at the festival. He has developed into a very good servant and he should be fine on the ground.

Not Many Left (Mark Walsh)

He did it well when he won a qualifier at Huntington and he wears cheek pieces and all has been good with him since. He has a nice weight on his back in what is a very compressed handicap. With Robert opting for Walk To Freedom, we’ve booked Mark Walsh and what a day he had here on Tuesday, winning the Champion Hurdle on Espoir D’Allen. I think he’ll handle slow ground, but we’ll just have to see what the ground will be like on Thursday as it was dry on Wednesday and I just hope that it doesn’t get very holding. He is a lightly raced horse and he’s one that we’ve always liked and he has been in very good form since he arrived over.

Supasundae (Robert Power)

I have been delighted with him and he has come out his last race really well. We had him in the Champion Hurdle, but we have gone this route instead and he has been in very good form since he arrived over. I would be concerned if the ground turned very soft. The favourite Paisley Park has looked a very good horse this season, but I think it’s an open race and our horse has won around Cheltenham before. If the ground dries out a bit, he looks sure to run a big race.

Emily Moon (Robert Power)

She won her maiden hurdle very well at Naas and she will love the likely soft ground. She comes from a great family and we’ve always liked her. The key to her is the ground and she is very uncomplicated in that she likes to bowl along and get on with things. This is a big step up in class for her, but she has improved since Naas and I couldn’t be happier with her. If something wants to go on, we can sit in and take a lead, but she likes to get on with things, so she’ll be ridden handily and I think she’ll run a big race.
