Got Trumped (Robbie Power)

He has done well for us over hurdles and the more rain that falls for him the better. He loves soft ground and he does stay well and while I’d prefer if he didn’t have as much weight as he has (11st 7lbs), I think he’ll run a big race. He jumps very well and I am looking forward to running him. He travelled over very well and he was nice and relaxed on Tuesday morning. This will be the first time that he has had his ground this season and while he lacks a bit of experience – he only raced twice on the flat – he has yet to run a bad race over hurdles and he was graded placed at Christmas time. He wasn’t beaten far in a Grade 1 the last day at Leopardstown and I’ve been very happy with him since, so hopefully he’ll get a bit of luck in running and outrun his price.
