Discordantly (Conor Orr)
He remains a maiden over hurdles and he is being pitched in at the deep end, but he has bumped into some very good horses this season and has yet to run a bad race over hurdles. He has been placed on his last three starts, but he has an opening mark of 138 (he’s rated 131 at home) which looks high enough. But the form is his races has worked out well and the horse that beat him on his penultimate start at Navan (Moratorium) has won again since. This is a very competitive race, but he’ll take his chance and we have a very good young rider in Conor Orr. I’d be delighted if he ran into the money.
