I don’t think her Lingfield win in bad ground last time told us a great deal, other than the fact she can operate in less-than-ideal conditions. And to be fair she did it very well on the bridle there from a horse that ran well in defeat at Haydock next time, She had earlier shaped very well when third to Get Ahead, who is also in here, from off the pace at this track on her debut and I can see her going well. She has a fair bit of class, and hopefully being drawn 19 of 22, next door to Wesley Ward’s Twilight Gleaming, is the place to be.

Hortzadar

Ignore his run when drawn 15 of 15 in the Thirsk Hunt Cup, and he has been running very well this season, most recently when second at Epsom. He hasn’t shone in his three starts here but 1m on quick ground is fine for him and he has plenty of big-field handicap form, including when third in this year’s Lincoln off a 1lb higher mark than this. He doesn’t have any secrets from the handicapper but he has each way chances.
