Omnivega
He was withdrawn from an intended run at Newcastle on Tuesday morning, so I imagine it will be another late call to see if he goes here. But if all is well with him and he does run, then he clearly has a major claim. A bigger field and more chance of a strong gallop would probably be preferable, but he has won twice around here, once in a four-runner-race, and the horse he beat here in July, Cepheus, has since gone to win at Goodwood and run a good second at Ascot last weekend. And everyone saw how promisingly Omnivega himself shaped in defeat at Ascot last time. Off the same mark, he has an obvious chance.
