DONCASTER – FRIDAY
1:40
GWAN SO
He’s a Maiden but has ran well in all four starts and probably bumped into a smart one of Jessie Harrington’s at Roscommon last time where I don’t think he did himself any favours by racing quite freely, so I’ll be trying to get him to relax and settle into a nice rhythm and see out his race. There should be plenty of pace with Razzle Dazzle and Find in the field, which should suit us, and I’m hopeful he can put up a good performance at a track which will play to his strengths.
2:40
RODRIGO DIAZ
He ran very well at Newbury behind Hukum the last day over a mile and a half and was previously second at the same track over two miles, so while the step up to 2m2f is a bit of an unknown, we do feel he will stay because he’s a very relaxed horse and is open to improvement. Obviously it’s not going to be an easy race with the likes of Stradivarius and Trueshan in the field but I do think my horse is an improving horse and can put up a bold show.
