Bless Him
His outside draw in eight is not that a big a deal given his run-style and he certainly has the form to take a hand. Clearly, one of the keys to him is a strong pace to aim at, and the likes of Khuzaam in two and Canagat will be handy on that front. Bless Him hasn’t raced here since finishing second in a maiden at three but he won well for me at Newcastle in January and he was in fair nick in Group 2 company at Meydan recently, running his best race there when a close sixth in the Zabeel Mile last time. If it all falls right for him, then he has every right to be going close, for all he meets some bang in-form rivals here. However, one worry I have for him is that he is best over a straight mile as the pace and fields tend to fan out on turning tracks, which is not ideal for him.
