I won on him here over 1m last season and he is a very good horse on his day, as he underlined when beating Lord North easily off a mark of 105 in the Balmoral last season. He had his wind done after his Queen Anne run and ran a near career-best when third in the Lennox last time. This Group 2 lacks a stand-out but it does have depth. However, I think you have to give my horse every chance.

I like my horse in this. I haven’t ridden him before but he looks to have a good profile for this race. He had good form over shorter trips when trained over here by James Fanshawe last season, and he has shaped well over 1m4f in all three starts for Joseph in this campaign. Okay, he was only fourth of five when favourite last time, but he raced wide and that was a Group 3 and he again shaped as though this step up to 1m6f will suit, stamina having earlier won him the day in a Listed race at Roscommon. That would tally in with his pedigree too, as he is a Sea The Moon half-brother to Lord Belvedere, who won over 1m5f in Australia last month. And he is relatively lightly-raced, too. I think he has definite chances. Unibet are paying AN EXTRA PLACE on this race (T&Cs apply)
