DONCASTER – WEDNESDAY
1:45pm
ATRIUM
He broke his maiden at the second time of asking in a nice race at Ascot but never really got into contention at Chester last time so connections decided to have him gelded and hopefully that will make him focus on the job in hand because I know Charlie has always thought a lot of him and it will be interesting to see how accurate his mark of 82 is. The ground should be fine and he goes there with a rock solid chance.
4:00pm
ARECIBO
He’s shown a very good level of form all season with a couple of wins at Newmarket before an excellent effort in the King George Qatar Stakes at Goodwood, and then putting up a grand performance in the G1 Coolmore Nunthorpe last time when not beaten that far. That is obviously very strong form and the drop down to Listed class is a big plus so you’d have to be coming into a race like this pretty confident of a bold show. He seems versatile ground-wise and the draw shouldn’t make any difference in a race like this with just seven runners.
