I can’t tell you much about him as I haven’t sat on him at home, but the Camelot colt cost 120,00gns as a yearling, so he must look the part. You suspect he would have to be above-average to be winning this though, as there are a few in this novice that have already shown a good level of form in defeat.

Carlos Felix

My original mount Brentford Hope is a non-runner, so I will switch to Carlos Felix. He disappointed us a bit at Goodwood last time, but we think he is a lot better than he showed there and at least he got dropped 2lb for it. He was earlier very impressive when we stepped him up from a mile to this 1m4f trip at Ascot, and he would definitely have each-way claims if running up to that form here. It looks like being on the easy side of good at Haydock, and that will be fine for him.
