He was obviously in the news earlier in the week as he was bought for £520,000 at the Goffs sale on Monday evening. Let’s hope it is money well spent then, and he certainly looked a decent prospect when beating a good next-time-out winner at Leopardstown last month. He is related to a whole host of good horses, and we will know a lot more about him after this.

Dubai Dominion

He has a fair bit to find but he was a useful 2yo, and well served by some cut in the ground. He looks to have shaped well over an extended 6f in testing conditions on his comeback in France, so hopefully, he is all set for a career-best here. He looks to face a pretty tough task, though.

Intisaab

He has come down to a mark from which he can be competitive, and he shaped well last time. He has a couple of good efforts to his name at this track, and he finished a good fifth on quick ground at York last time. He has come down a bit more in the weights, and he seems to act on any going. He has each-way chances in what is obviously a hugely competitive race.
