We took her out of the Queen Mary on Wednesday due to the quick ground, so any further rain will be a plus for her – we missed most of the rain on Wednesday night but some is forecast on Friday – and I don’t think the extra furlong here will be a problem. I  also don’t think her Lingfield win in bad ground last time told us a great deal, other than the fact she can operate in those conditions if required. And to be fair she did it very well on the bridle there from a horse that ran well in defeat at Haydock next time, She had earlier shaped very well when third to Get Ahead, who ran well enough in the Queen Mary, from off the pace at this track on her debut and I can see her going well. She has a fair bit of class.

Prado

She has a similar level of form on fast and slow ground, is lightly-raced and shaped quite well in a conditions race here last time. A mark of 93 looks okay on what she has shown, and hopefully there is more to come from her.

I haven’t ridden him before but he looks to have a decent enough chance. He won here last season and he looks to have shaped very well in a decent race at Thirsk on his return. He has run okay on soft before if we get a low of rain on Friday but all his best form has come on quicker ground, so we will have to see how we get on there. But he appears to have a fair bit going for him in an obviously competitive handicap.
