1.15pm: This is a real lottery to call but it could be that Art Power is a class above these. He obviously won very well at Newcastle and the chat is that they think he is a Group horse. If that is the case then he could take some stopping off a mark of 97 here; the step down to 5f will be no problem.

1.50pm:  Setarhe overcame a slow start to win nicely at Newmarket on her debut and she could be the answer in the Albany; it is clearly a very open race, though.

2.25pm:  This Norfolk could take a fair bit of winning too but I thought Eye Of Heaven did really well to win at Newmarket on his debut considering he was disadvantaged by the way the race panned out for him.

3.00pm: Elarqam and Defoe could be players of at their best but Anthony van Dyck could take some beating here.  The Derby winner proved he can handle any type of ground last season, and I thought he shaped very well in the Coronation Cup on his return. He could be hard to beat.

3.35pm:  Kimari has a lot going for her. She was just touched off in the Queen Mary here last season and she probably should have been unbeaten since, as she lost her race at the start when fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint. She had a run in April, and she ticks a lot of boxes.

4.10pm: Berkshire Rocco looks the solid one in here. He is ground-versatile and it certainly looked like he bumped into a good one in the Lingfield Derby Trial; he is the one to beat if staying this longer trip.

4.40pm: Durston has been working very well, and I think he is better than a mark of 100. He had form against very smart horses at the end of last season, has form on both good and soft ground, and it looks like a gelding operation has helped him. He shouldn’t be far away if getting the breaks from his inside draw in four. The stable is coming into a bit of form, too.
