Azzerti 17/2*

He showed a very willing attitude when winning for me over course and distance on his return. He is 4lb higher here in a more competitive race, so this will be much tougher obviously, but he is clearly in great heart and likes it here, so he has every chance.  No more rain from now on will help him, too. I schooled him on Thursday morning, and all was very good.

The Worlds End 11/2*

We clearly have our work cut out taking on Paisley Park off levels, and of course you have to massively respect the likes of Thistlecrack, but we have had a run and I don’t think we have seen the best of our horse just yet. Of course the downside of him winning at Wetherby on his return is that he carries a 6lb penalty here, but he clearly delighted us when beating Unowatimeanharry by 5 lengths there, albeit in receipt of weight, and that also showed us that he can operate effectively in soft ground, although he will benefit if it dries out. As I have said, we are under no illusions about the task he faces here, but he is a very good horse in his own right and comes here fit and in great form. I popped him over a few hurdles on Wednesday morning and he was grand.
