Escaria Ten

Max and the team bought him at the Cheltenham sales last month, and he looks an exciting addition to our squad. He is clearly an unexposed and promising prospect, having had just the one run in point – which he won – bumper and hurdles company. He was second to a very talented sort in his bumper and he shaped very well when third to the highly-regarded Diol Ker and subsequent winner Monkfish over 2m4f at Fairyhouse on his hurdling debut in November. In fact, the form looks very strong, as even the fourth, fifth and sixth-placed horses, who were a long way behind Escaria Ten, have come out and won since. Hopefully, the step up to 3m will suit him and he looks to have an obvious and leading chance here.
