I rode him when he won in Ireland last time, and hopefully he is capable of being competitive off his higher mark. It will not be easy as he is effectively up 9lb, which looks a pretty tall order considering he won by only ½ length at Leopardstown. But I suppose the runner-up was running a big race when falling next time out, and we did pull well clear of the third. Conditions will suit, so hopefully he is still on a mark that he can go close off.  He did battle really well when winning last time, and did it nicely, and a stamina-sapping 2m will be ideal.
