Player to score first – Kylian Mbappe (PSG v Marseille) – 33/10

Sunday will see a top-of-the-table clash in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain aiming to take another step towards the French title against rivals Marseille. Mauricio Pochettino’s team are finally putting away opponents in the way most expected earlier in the season, scoring 11 times in their last two league outings.

Kylian Mbappe is in exceptional form, scoring five goals against Lorient and Clermont. With the pressure off following PSG’s Champions League exit, there are signs of an understanding forming between Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi, who is acting as a playmaker behind the pair. Mbappe to find the back of the net again looks as sure-fire a bet as there is this weekend.

Player to be carded – Gonzalo Montiel (Sevilla v Real Madrid)

Real Madrid can edge closer to the La Liga title with a win over second-place Sevilla this weekend with Carlo Ancelotti’s team set to arrive in Andalusia as Champions League semi-finalists. Sevilla boast one of the strongest defensive units in Spanish football right now, but Real Madrid’s speed in quick-transition will test them.

No player has won more fouls in La Liga this season than Vinicius Junior and it will likely be Gonzalo Montiel’s job to stop the Brazilian winger on Sunday evening. The Argentine is no stranger to a yellow card having collected five bookings in 24 league appearances. He’s a good bet to pick up a sixth against the table-toppers.

Match to be a draw – Bayer Leverkusen v RB Leipzig – 27/10

Third place in the Bundesliga table will be on the line this Sunday when Bayer Leverkusen host RB Leipzig with just one point between the two teams. Domenico Tedesco’s side have won their last four away games and are in excellent form. Meanwhile, Leverkusen have scored two or more goals in seven of their last eight league matches in front of their own fans.

RB Leipzig are a dangerous outfit right now with Christopher Nkunku flourishing into one of the most reliable goalscorers anywhere in European football this season. Leverkusen haven’t been so strong at home this term and so Tedesco’s team can be confident of claiming something at the Bay Arena. What’s more, three of the last six meetings between Leverkusen and Leipzig have ended in a draw.

Both teams to score – Newcastle United v Leicester City – 7/10

A lot has changed since Leicester City beat Newcastle United 4-0 in December. Indeed, Eddie Howe has turned around the fortunes of the St James’ Park outfit in recent months with the Magpies edging closer to securing their Premier League status for another season. Leicester City are also on a four-game unbeaten run (all competitions).

Brendan Rodgers’ team have drawn a blank in just one of their last eight Premier League outings while Newcastle United haven’t failed to find the back of the net at home in the league since a defeat to Manchester City in mid-December. This should be a contest against two teams that have recovered somewhat from a difficult first half of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur have found their groove under Antonio Conte with the North London side now the frontrunners to clinch the last available top four place. Spurs have scored two or more goals in seven of their last seven Premier League matches, also winning six of their last seven matches in the division.

Conte’s team have been winning at half time and full time of five of their last seven games with Son Heung-min in particularly devastating form – the South Korean has netted six times in his last three outings. Despite winning at Arsenal last weekend, Brighton have drawn a blank in three of their last four games. welcome 2020 football banner jpg
