Player to score – Bukayo Saka (Burnley v Arsenal) 6/5

Arsenal have found their scoring touch in front of goal recently, netting no fewer than 16 goals in their last four games. This is particularly bad news for Burnley who have conceded more Premier League goals than any other team this season besides Sheffield United. The Gunners will fancy their chances of an empathic victory.

Bukayo Saka has been central to Arsenal’s recent strong form, scoring four goals in his last three appearances including two in last week’s 6-0 demolition of West Ham. Burnley have struggled against opponents that press high this season and this weakness could present Saka with a good number of opportunities.

Over 2.5 total goals – Celta Vigo v Barcelona (3/5)

Barcelona have conceded more goals in 2024 than any other team in Europe’s ‘Big Five’ leagues. Indeed, there have been over 2.5 goals in six of Barca’s last seven matches in La Liga with Xavi Hernandez’s team extremely vulnerable at the back – this was exposed in last week’s 3-3 draw against Granada.

Celta Vigo are facing a fight against relegation near the bottom of the La Liga table, but they have found the back of the net in three of their last four games. Barcelona’s shaky defensive line will give them opportunities. Plus, there have been over 2.5 goals in eight of the last nine matches between Celta and Barca.

Match to be a draw – Nottingham Forest v West Ham (5/2)

Nottingham Forest enter Saturday’s home game against West Ham having drawn three of their last five matches in all competitions. Forest haven’t won a game at home in the Premier League since beating Manchester United at the end of last year and so Nuno Espirito Santo’s team could use three points this weekend.

West Ham, meanwhile, have drawn four of their last seven matches in all competitions and are suffering a slump in form. David Moyes is coming under pressure as the Hammers slide down the Premier League table. Both teams need points this weekend, but could find they have to settle for a point apiece.

Both teams to score – Tottenham Hotspur v Wolves (11/20)

Tottenham Hotspur are currently on a five-match winning run at home in the Premier League and there’s good reason to believe that run will continue against Wolves this weekend. However, Ange Postecoglou’s team have only kept two clean sheets in 12 home league matches this season. Spurs score goals, but they also concede them.

Wolves drew a blank in last weekend’s defeat to Brentford, but Gary O’Neill’s team have demonstrated their attacking threat at various times this season. Indeed, Wolves netted eight goals in their two matches before defeat to Brentford and have the potency to make a dent at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Manchester United travel to Kenilworth Road on Sunday in good form on the back of four straight Premier League victories. However, both teams have scored in each of their last three games away from home and Luton Town will pose a threat having recently netted four times against Brighton and Newcastle United.

Luton will make Sunday’s match a physical one which could lead to United picking up a good number of cards – they have received over 1.5 cards in seven of their last eight away matches. Rasmus Hojlund has scored five goals in his last five games and could extend that run by finding the net this weekend.
