Player to score – Christian Pulisic (AC Milan v Roma) 10/3

Christian Pulisic has been rejuvenated by his transfer to AC Milan from Chelsea with the USA international currently in sparkling form for his new team. Indeed, Pulisic has registered a goal or assist in seven of his last nine matches in all competitions.

AC Milan have won their last four home Serie A matches in-a-row. Meanwhile, Roma are in poor form at the moment having won just one of their last four games in all competitions. Jose Mourinho is under pressure and Pulisic could add to his troubles with a goal on Sunday.

Under 2.5 total goals – Chelsea v Fulham (7/5)

Chelsea enter Saturday’s home Premier League match against Fulham on the back of contrasting results in the cup competitions – while they were convincing in a 4-0 win over Preston North End in the FA Cup, they lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg on Tuesday evening.

Fulham were also involved in Carabao Cup action during the week, losing to Liverpool. There has been under 2.5 goals in the last nine meetings between Chelsea and the Cottagers at Stamford Bridge while both teams have suffered issues scoring goals at various times this season.

Match to be a draw – Burnley v Luton (5/2)

An archetypal relegation six-pointer will take place at Turf Moor on Friday evening with Burnley set to host Luton Town with just four points and a single place between the two teams. All the signs point towards this being a cagey encounter between two teams who desperately need points to boost their chances of survival.

The last three matches (all competitions) between Burnley and Luton have ended in a draw. The Hatters have the edge in terms of their points tally, but they have won just two of their last seven games in all competitions. Burnley, in that respect, have the same record as their relegation rivals.

Both teams to score – Barcelona v Real Madrid

Sunday will see Barcelona and Real Madrid face each other in El Clasico. This might not have the intensity of a league match, with it being the final of the Spanish Supercopa instead, but there is still plenty on the line for the two rivals. Real Madrid have to be considered the favourites to get the better of the Catalans in Saudi Arabia.

Barcelona are struggling for consistent form this season, but they have scored in 11 successive matches while Real Madrid haven’t drawn a blank in 12 games and are fresh from putting five goals past Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Spanish Supercopa.

Sunday’s marquee Premier League fixture will see Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur with both teams in need of points to boost their chances of finishing in the top four. This could be an entertaining encounter, particularly given the way Spurs have played under Ange Postecoglou this season.

Spurs have scored over 1.5 goals in their last five matches, but have also kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 Premier League matches. Richarlison will be Spurs’ main attacking focal point while Son Heung-min is at the Asian Cup and the Brazilian has netted five goals in his last six games. Meanwhile, Tottenham have been shown under 3.5 yellow cards in their last nine away games at Old Trafford.
