Player to score – Mohamed Salah (Liverpool v Brentford) 22/25

Liverpool have given themselves a chance of finishing in the top four by stringing together five straight wins in the Premier League. Mohamed Salah has been driving force for the Reds over this run, scoring five goals over the course of those five games, and he’s a good bet to continue that streak against Brentford.

There have been over 2.5 goals in the last three meetings between Liverpool and Brentford in all competitions with Thomas Frank’s team arriving at Anfield this weekend having kept just one clean sheet in their last eight outings in the Premier League. Salah will likely have chances to find the back of the net.

Over 2.5 total goals – Borussia Dortmund v Wolfsburg (4/9)

Borussia Dortmund lost ground in the Bundesliga title race by drawing away to Bochum last weekend, but they have a chance to get back to winning ways against Wolfsburg on Sunday. The omens are good for the Black and Yellows who have won six of their last seven home matches against Wolfsburg in all competitions.

Niko Kovac’s team will arrive at the Westfalenstadion on the back of successive victories during which Wolfsburg have found the back of the net eight times. Meanwhile, Dortmund have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight Bundesliga matches.

Match to be a draw – AC Milan v Lazio (47/20)

With the Serie A title race settled on Thursday as Napoli crossed the line, focus will now be on the race to finish in the top four. AC Milan and Lazio both have Champions League qualification in their sights, placing great importance on the outcome of this weekend’s league fixture at the San Siro.

Stefano Pioli’s team, who have a Champions League semi-final against Inter to look forward to next week, have drawn four of their last four matches in all competitions. Second-place Lazio are in stronger form, but lost their last away game in Serie A – which was incidentally at the San Siro against Inter.

Both teams to score – Newcastle United v Arsenal (4/7)

Sunday’s blockbuster fixture in the Premier League will see Newcastle United host Arsenal with the former chasing Champions League qualification and the latter chasing the title. The Magpies are undefeated in 25 of their last 28 league matches and have scored 13 goals in their last three fixtures.

Arsenal got their title challenge back on track with a convincing 3-1 win over Chelsea during the week, but the Gunners have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven matches in the league going back to a 3-0 win over Fulham in mid-March. There could well be goals at St James’ Park.

Manchester City have won each of their last nine Premier League matches and will face a Leeds United team that have lost four of their last five games. Sam Allardyce’s surprise appointment at Elland Road could change Leeds’ approach, but City have scored over 2.5 goals in seven of their last eight home matches.

With the semi-finals of the Champions League on the horizon, Pep Guardiola is expected to start Julian Alvarez on Saturday. The Argentine scored in last weekend’s win over Fulham and has looked dangerous for the Premier League table-toppers. He could be a key figure for City against Leeds.
