Player to score – Amad Diallo (Hearts v Rangers)
The 2021/22 Scottish Premiership title was handed to Celtic on Wednesday night and so Rangers will have the sights firmly on next week’s Europa League final against Eintracht Frankfurt as they head to Edinburgh to face Hearts. This will almost certainly see Giovanni van Bronckhorst rest a number of key players, but Amad Diallo is a good bet to start.
Diallo has scored in back-to-back games for the Ibrox side, but is unlikely to start in Seville next Wednesday. The on-loan Manchester United winger, who has sharpened his final product over the last few weeks, will have a lot of space to exploit in behind Stephen Kingsley as the Hearts left back and is a good bet to make it three in three on Saturday.
Player to be carded – Josh Brownhill (Tottenham v Burnley) 9/5
Burnley’s fight against relegation will take them to North London this weekend where they will face a Tottenham Hotspur team still hoping to finish in the top four. The Clarets will have their defensive structure tested by Spurs with Harry Kane quick to drop deep and dictate play. This could put Josh Brownhill in the firing line.
Kane’s movement can be difficult for central defenders to track and so Mike Jackson will likely ask Brownhill to drop deeper to provide some cover. The 26-year-old has already picked up 10 yellow cards in the Premier League this season and might have to collect another one if he is to disrupt Tottenham in the centre of the pitch.
Match to be a draw – Everton v Brentford 13/5
Everton look to have turned a corner under Frank Lampard in recent weeks with the Toffees winning three and drawing two of their last six Premier League fixtures. This has been enough to drag them out of the bottom three, but the pressure is still on and it’s crucial Lampard’s team pick up something against Brentford with challenging games against Crystal Palace and Arsenal to finish the campaign.
The problem is that Lampard’s new compact approach only works when opposition teams try to impose their own game – see how Everton failed to break down Watford on Wednesday night. Brentford have one of the lowest average possession shares (43.5%) in the Premier League this season and so Everton could encounter a similar issue this weekend.
Both teams to score – AC Milan v Atalanta 1/2
This season’s Serie A title race looks set to go down to the wire with just two points between AC Milan and Inter at the top of the table. Sunday’s fixture between the Rossoneri and Atalanta will go a long way to deciding the destination of the Scudetto with the visitors to the San Siro one of the best attacking units in Italian football.
AC Milan have kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven home Serie A matches, but there has been over 2.5 goals scored in six of Atalanta’s last seven league outings. This is a team that has found the back of the net 11 times in their last four games. There’s good reason to believe the Rossoneri’s defence will be breached.

Manchester City will aim to take another step towards the 2021/22 Premier League title when they visit West Ham at the London Stadium this weekend. Three points would put Pep Guardiola’s team on the cusp of their fourth title in five seasons with their goal difference markedly improved by recent emphatic wins over Newcastle United and Wolves.
Riyad Mahrez was rested for the visit to Molineux on Wednesday night and will likely start against West Ham on Sunday. The Algerian winger has scored 11 Premier League goals this season and City have scored four or more goals in each of their last three outings. All signs point to the away team continuing in their current groove.
