Spain v Switzerland Bet Builder

In the eyes of many, this is Spain’s tournament’s to lose. The world champions were the favourites coming into Women’s Euro 2025 and they have bolstered this standing by winning three from three, scoring 14 goals in the process of wins over Portugal, Italy and Belgium in the group stage.

Switzerland, however, will pose a different threat. They will play with the support of the host nation behind them having emerged from a group that included Norway, Finland and Iceland. Pia Sundhage’s team scored a late goal in their final group game against Finland to make the quarter-finals and now have a free hit at the 2023 Women’s World Cup winners.

Esther Gonzalez and Alexia Putellas have scored a combined seven goals for Spain at this summer’s tournament and will pose a threat against Switzerland on Friday evening. The hosts, meanwhile, have scored just four goals in three games. Only Italy have scored fewer goals having made it this far.

The Swiss kept a clean sheet against Iceland in the group stage, but it’s difficult to envisage how they can possibly do the same thing against a Spanish frontline that boasts some of the most dangerous attackers in the women’s game. This should be a comfortable evening for a Spain team with their eyes on the trophy.

• Spain/Spain Half Time/Full Time
• Over 3.5 Total Goals by Spain
• Alexia Putellas Anytime Scorer
• Esther Gonzalez Over 1.5 Shots on Target

France v Germany Bet Builder

In what promises to be arguably the biggest heavyweight clash of the Women’s Euros so far, France will face Germany with a place in the semi-finals on the line. France have a perfect record at the tournament so far having come through a tough group that included England, the Netherlands and Wales.

Germany, however, could only finish second behind Sweden in their group, ensuring a meeting with France in the final eight when the Euro 2022 finalists could have been handed a more favourable draw. Sweden exposed just how defensively vulnerable Germany are by dismantling them 4-1 in the group stage.

Carlotta Wamser is suspended for Saturday’s quarter-final after seeing red against Sweden. This could be a high-scoring affair such is the level of attacking quality boasted by both teams. The likes of Delphine Cascarino and Marie-Antoinette Katoto could have a lot of open space to attack in behind Germany’s high defensive line.

Jule Brand and Lea Schuller will provide a goal threat in the other direction and Germany might have to lean into their attacking quality to stand any chance of overcoming France. Tactically, the two teams will lineup in similar formations, but France’s stronger defensive foundation could prove to be the difference.

• France To Win and Both Teams To Score
• Goal in Both Halves
• Marie-Antoinette Katoto Anytime Scorer
