Marmoush to fire

Player to score – Omar Marmoush (Man City v Crystal Palace) 23/20

With Erling Haaland out until the end of the season, it will be on Omar Marmoush to lead the line for Manchester City against Crystal Palace. The Egyptian was quiet in last weekend’s goalless draw in the Manchester Derby. However, Marmoush has already netted five goals in nine Premier League appearances since joining in January.

Palace will be somewhat depleted for their trip to the Etihad Stadium due to the suspension of Marc Guehi and Eddie Nketiah. Maxence Lacroix will miss the match through injury while Chris Richards is a doubt. This could have an impact on how competitive Oliver Glasner’s team can be.

Under 2.5 total goals – Lazio v Roma (8/11)

Sunday’s Derby della Capitale between Lazio and Roma will have plenty riding on it. However, that doesn’t mean there will be a lot of goals between the two Rome rivals. Indeed, there has been under 2.5 goals in the last six meetings between Lazio and Roma. These matches are usually cagey affairs.

Roma are in good form. They are unbeaten in their last 15 league games and are fresh from a 1-1 draw against Juventus last weekend. Claudio Ranieri has made an impact since taking over in November, but Roma have failed to score more than a single goal in a game in any of their last five outings.

Match to be a draw – Wolves v Tottenham (5/2)

Both Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur would be happy to skip ahead to the end of the Premier League season. Last week’s comeback win over Ipswich Town all but confirmed Wolves’ survival while Spurs are sitting a lowly 14th in the table. There’s not a whole lot for either team to play for at this stage.

Of course, Spurs have a season-defining Europa League second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt next week and so Ange Postecoglou could rotate his team with that match in mind. Spurs have won just one of their last five league fixtures and that run could continue at Molineux this weekend.

Both teams to score – Alaves v Real Madrid (10/13)

Real Madrid are on the brink of a full-blown crisis. Two defeats to Valencia and Arsenal in the space of a week have left Carlo Ancelotti and his players facing intense criticism. By the time Real Madrid kick off against Alaves on Sunday, Barcelona could hold a commanding seven-point lead at the top of La Liga.

Ancelotti could rotate his team with next week’s Champions League quarter-final second leg in mind. Alaves are fighting relegation, but are fresh from a 1-0 win over Girona and have lost just once in their last five games. They have momentum behind them. What’s more, Real Madrid haven’t kept a clean sheet in nine matches.

Newcastle United need three points against Manchester United on Sunday to boost their chances of finishing in the top five and qualifying for next season’s Champions League. There has been over 2.5 goals scored in 14 of the Magpies’ last 17 league games. However, they have also kept a clean sheet in five of their last seven meetings with United.

Eddie Howe’s team have won their last three in the Premier League. Manchester United, on the other hand, are winless in their last three games in all competitions and will have one eye on next week’s Europa League quarter-final second leg against Lyon. This could be Newcastle United’s day.
